Gingerac (Difficulty: Medium)
1.5 oz. Rye Whiskey
.5 oz. Cognac
.5 oz. Craftsman Ginger Syrup
4 dashes Peychaud's Bitters
2 dashes Grassroots Orange Bitters
6 drops of Absinthe
Combine all ingredients but Absinthe into a mixing glass, add ice & stir until proper temperature & dilution. Using a dropper, coat the inside of an old Fashioned glass with Absinthe.
Using a Julep Strainer, strain ingredients into the coated Old Fashioned glass. Garnish with an expressed orange peel.
